Summary

Dario is a London based, professional saxophone player who specialises in improvising on different music genres. He is perfectly suited to events with a live DJ, but can also play with backing tracks.

Dario was studied saxophone under the tutelage of legendary Ray Gelato (the ‘Godfather of Swing’). He also draws inspiration from Leroi Moore, Arnett Cobb, Maceo Parker and Boney James.

He has been performing live for over 15 years, as part of various lineups including the vibrant L8Funk band, the Dave Matthews Project Band and many others.

Genres he is comfortable playing include: Pop, House, Disco, Swing, Funk, Blues, Bossa Nova, Easy-Listening, Rockabilly and more.
