This week we chatted to Lynn, one of incredible facepainters.

BC: Hello there, so who are you?
Lynn: I’m Lynn and I’m a facepainter.

BC: Describe what you do in one sentence?
Lynn: I do facepainting, glitter tattoos and special FX gory make-up.

BC: What makes you different from other face painters?
Lynn: I’m different from other facepainters because I have more glitter and sparkly gems than anyone alive!!

BC: How did you become a face painter?
Lynn: I trained originally as a make up artist, and then was asked to facepaint at a children’s festival about 15 years ago, loved it and the rest is history!

BC: Who is your favourite artist?
Lynn: My favourite artist is Maxfield Parrish.

BC: What has been your favourite ever event (and why)?
Lynn: My favourite event was facepainting at Buckingham Palace for The Children’s Party at the Palace. The Palace gardens were amazing and it was brilliant to celebrity spot and to see Her Majesty close up!

BC: What would be your ideal event?
Lynn: My ideal event would be facepainting George Clooney as a tiger at his villa in Lake Como, Italy (can you arrange that, please …?!)

BC: Who have you most enjoyed performing for/meeting on an event?
Lynn: One of my favourite people I met at an event was Claudia Winkleman, I painted her daughter.

BC: What do you do the rest of the time (when you’re not doing your act)?
Lynn: When I’m not facepainting, I do a bit of acting work (when I get the chance!)
