Niamh is a Dublin-based folk artist, singer-songwriter and musician with a timeless voice.
An experienced and versatile performer, she is well versed in engaging her audience and creating stylish ambience for events of all shapes and sizes. As a solo singer, she can accompany herself with finger-picked acoustic guitar, violin loops and piano.
Her extensive repertoire ranges from the great American songbook, classic pop to Irish traditional songs. She is particularly fond of folk music like Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and loves everything from the Beatles to Simon & Garfunkel.
Niamh has 10 years’ performance experience and has played on some of Ireland’s biggest and most iconic stages, from Whelans on Wexford Street to the National Concert Hall. She has performed at Ireland’s biggest music festival Electric Picnic for the last four years.
Most recently, she has supported legendary Irish acts like KILA, Damien Dempsey and John Spillane. Her songwriting has been accredited by some of Ireland’s most popular song contests while her original music has been featured on national radio stations.
As a violinist, Niamh was recently featured on a Netflix production of ‘Bodkin’ & Disney Plus production of ‘Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming with David Letterman). She is an experienced wedding singer with her own wedding trio who provide romantic vocals, violin, piano and cello music for ceremonies and receptions across Ireland.
